These 19th-century earrings are made from 14k rose gold and are set with two round rose-cut diamonds, of circa 6.9 and 7 mm in diameter, which are set in closed settings.

Although it is notoriously difficult to calculate rose-cut diamonds in their settings, I can approximately estimate their weight as 1.00 and 1.05 carats.

The foils behind the diamonds have created patina over time, which gives them a slightly greyish appearance.
